Melanie Hoffman
Vice President of Operations and Delivery
Melanie Hoffman is the Vice President of Operations & Delivery at Aquilae, bringing over 25 years of expertise in management and technology consulting. Previously, she served as Managing Director for a mid-sized consulting firm, leading the Southeast region and holding Client Executive and Sponsor roles across Telecommunications, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors.
A passionate advocate for women in technology, Melanie helped launch the first Women in Tech (WiT) Employee Resource Group and is an active speaker, panelist, and moderator on topics promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
Melanie is dedicated to collaborating with clients to identify challenges, implement innovative technology solutions, and celebrate successful outcomes. Her leadership has driven enterprise-wide technology initiatives for industry leaders such as AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company, Corpay, and McKesson. Her core competencies include relationship management, change management, operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys travel, cooking, mixology, tennis, kayaking, and playing Mah Jongg. She resides in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida, with her husband, son, and their German Shepherd.

Dan Dempsey
Founder and Managing Partner - Americas
I founded Aquilae Partners to help buyers and sellers of large technology implementations optimize their results and relationships. With our team's extensive knowledge and experience, we empower firms to improve outcomes while reducing risk and stress. My partners and I have been involved in some of the largest technology transformations and are eager to share our insights with clients and partners.
Having successfully pursued over $3.5 billion in technology contracts with industry leaders like Dell, HP and Perficient. I’ve collaborated with major brands such as Coca-Cola, FedEx, and Amazon. My expertise spans Consumer-Packaged Goods, Logistics, Aerospace & Defense, and High-Tech, supported by significant experience in complex enterprise software implementations across Central and South America, India, Eastern Europe, and the Philippines.
Learning from both successes and failures, we’ve built a results-driven team that partners only with organizations we can genuinely assist, charging fees only when clients are fully satisfied. Our approach prioritizes speed, practicality, and collaboration.
Outside of work, I’m an avid tennis player, golfer, and traveler, and I support the Atlanta Humane Society. I live in Atlanta, GA, with my two daughters.

Franz Pascher
Managing Partner EMEA
Franz Pascher leads EMEA operations at Aquilae. Most recently he served as Engagement Director at Capgemini. He has been managing complex service delivery for top clients including Deutsche Bank and Bank of America.
With a career that spans leadership roles at Capgemini, DXC Technology, HP Enterprise Services, HP and Procter&Gamble, Franz has successfully overseen major technology deals, managing team sizes of up to 2,500 and contracts valued at $700 million annually. His strategic guidance has been crucial in high-stakes negotiations and critical delivery issues.
As Global Account Delivery Executive for Bank of America and Sara Lee, he consistently delivered top-tier Infrastructure service whilst earning high customer satisfaction ratings. At General Motors and Procter&Gamble, he directed Global Application Services and was an Executive Team member. At Procter&Gamble he also managed Facilities Services.
Franz began his career at Procter&Gamble, managing infrastructure services. He studied in Vienna, Madrid and France and holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Technology in Vienna. He has lived and worked across Europe, the USA and the Middle East.
Based in Berlin, Germany since 2021, Franz enjoys outside of work contemporary art and hot yoga.
